DAY 2, Tuesday - Arrive in Tel Aviv
Arrive in Tel Aviv; transfer to your hotel in this vibrant city, known as Israel’s "playground on the sea." Time to rest, relax and acclimate to your new time zone. Perhaps, walk along the bustling beachfront promenade, stop at a café and just people-watch! This evening meet your Tour Manager and fellow travelers for an orientation at the hotel

DAY 3, Wednesday - Full Day in Tel Aviv
Today is free for individual pursuits or, join the optional Half Day Tel Aviv Tour. Start with a visit to Jaffa (Joppa), the ancient port city linked with biblical stories of Solomon, Jonah and St. Peter. Tour the ancient ruins and walk to the beautifully reconstructed Artists' Quarter. From atop the hill, stop to admire breathtaking panoramic views of the Mediterranean coast and Tel Aviv. Continue to trendy Neve Tzedek (Tel Aviv's "Soho"), the first neighborhood constructed outside of Jaffa and to the HaTachana, a renovated Ottoman train station converted to a vibrant entertainment complex. Conclude the tour with a visit to the Independence Hall, the home of Tel Aviv’s first Mayor, and the location of the official declaration of the State of Israel. Balance of the day is at leisure

DAY 4, Thursday - Travel to "Golden" Jerusalem
This morning, drive to Jerusalem. Afterward, enjoy a walking tour, exploring Jerusalem's walled Old City with its four distinct sections known as the Christian Quarter, Jewish Quarter, Muslim Quarter and Armenian Quarter. Begin the day outside of the walls at Mt. Scopus for panoramic views of the city. Continue to Mt. Zion to visit the Room of the Last Supper and the tomb dedicated to King David. Visit the Western Wall, a remnant of the original wall surrounding the Temple Mount. Stroll along the Via Dolorosa, a central street in the Old City and visit the Church of the Holy Sepulchre, which contains the holiest sites in Christianity. It is here, that Jesus was crucified, buried and resurrected Later, the entertaining optional evening includes dinner at a popular restaurant, attendance at the spectacular Sound & Light Show at the Tower of David and a drive through illuminated Jerusalem

DAY 5, Friday - Full Day in Jerusalem
Immerse yourself in this ancient city on this day at leisure. Learn more about the fascinating history of the Old City on the optional morning tour that begins at the Zion Gate. Visit the Cardo, a colonnaded Roman shopping street during the Byzantine period, the Jewish Quarter's four Sephardic Synagogues and the Burnt House, set ablaze by the Romans. Then, on to the Davidson Center in the archaeological Park. The site contains artifacts from the city's destruction in 70 CE, as well as significant archaeological remains. The rest of the day is at leisure to discover the many facets of Jerusalem on your own

DAY 6, Saturday - Full Day in Jerusalem
A full day to discover this fascinating city on your own. In Jerusalem, one of the oldest and holiest cities in the world there are endless opportunities to explore. A walk through the city's colorful neighborhoods reveals a diverse blend of traditional and modern cultures. Perhaps, join the fascinating optional full day tour to Masada and the Dead Sea that begins with a drive along the shores of the Dead Sea, the lowest point on earth, to Masada. Ascend by cable car to the top of these heroic heights; listen to the brave tale of the Zealots who chose to perish rather than live under Roman rule. Visit the archaeological sites including the remains of Herod's Palace, a synagogue, bath houses, dwellings, and workshops. After a visit to the Museum of Masada at the base, drive to the Dead Sea for a swim in the salty and buoyant waters before returning to Jerusalem. Tonight, attend the optional Dinner in Jerusalem and savor local specialties at a popular restaurant

DAY 7, Sunday - Full Day in Jerusalem
Today, is at leisure or, embark on an optional morning tour of Jerusalem's New City. View the Supreme Court building and the Knesset, Israel’s Parliament as you drive to visit the Israel Museum. While here, visit the Shrine of the Book where the famous Dead Sea Scrolls are kept. Continue to visit the enormous replica of Jerusalem, built in a 1:50 scale. The model depicts the city as it was nearly 2000 years ago in 66 AD. End the tour with a visit to the site of Israel's Holocaust Memorial, Yad Vashem, located on the western slope of Mt. Herzl, also known as the "Mount of Remembrance." Spend the balance of the day at leisure or, join the optional afternoon tour to Bethlehem that includes a visit to the Church of the Nativity, commemorating the birthplace of Christ

DAY 8, Monday - Beit She’an, Travel to Tiberias
Travel north via the Jordan Valley and reach the impressive archaeological site of Beit She'an, an ancient city dating back to King Saul; see the remains of this ancient Roman city and get a sense of what it was like to live and work in the Roman Empire. Admire the well preserved 7000-seat theatre, public baths, Roman temple and the Cardo (Palladius Street), the impresiive colonnaded main street. From here, travel to the Jordan River, considered one of the world's most sacred rivers, that flows north to south through the Sea of Galilee and into the Dead Sea. Stop at the popular baptismal site of Yardenit, a pilgrimage site. Afterwards, a stop in Caprice, famous for the diamond factory. Enjoy dinner at the hotel this evening

DAY 9, Tuesday - Full Day in Tiberias
Today is at leisure in Tiberias, to relax and enjoy the serene quiet of the pristine Sea of Galilee, the largest freshwater lake in Israel, with nature, history, and religion. Don't miss the optional full day tour to the Sea of Galilee & Golan Heights that begins in Capernaum, where Jesus chose his first disciples among the humble local fisherman and view the remains of Peter’s house and the synagogue site where Jesus taught and worshiped. Proceed to the Mount of Beatitudes, where Jesus preached the Sermon of the Mount, and to Tabgha, the sight of the multiplication of the Loaves and Fishes. Stop for lunch, on your own and perhaps try the St. Peter’s fish. Afterward, visit a working kibbutz. Ascend the Golan Heights to understand more about this strategic area; visit Har Bental, site of a former Israeli bunker. At the end of the tour, taste special vintages at a winery in Katzrin. Tonight, dinner at the hotel

DAY 10, Wednesday - Depart Israel, Flight to Serbia
Morning transfer to the airport for your flight to Belgrade, Serbia. Following transportation from the airport, check into your hotel. The rest of the day is yours to explore this capital city that lies on the confluence of the two major rivers, Sava and Danube and has a long history, dating back to the 4th century BC. Walk along Knez Mihailova, a lively pedestrian boulevard flanked by historical buildings all the way to the ancient Kalemegdan Citadel, the crown of the city. Tonight, dinner at your hotel with your fellow travelers
