Today is yours to explore Venice independently. Discover the city’s rich culture and history on your own or perhaps participate in the morning optional tour to the Islands of Venice Lagoon. In Murano, visit a glass blowing factory and witness the methods used in this fascinating art. Continue to Burano, the most scenic island of the Lagoon and visit Baldassarre Galuppi street filled with shops that sell famous handmade lace. Arrive in the secluded city of Kotor, Montenegro at 2:00 pm. A UNESCO World Heritage Site, Kotor is one of the best preserved medieval old towns in the Adriatic. The dramatic 65-foot high protective walls date back to the Venetian period during the 9th century. Perhaps stroll through the labyrinth of cobbled streets lined with museums, churches, cafés, and Venetian palaces and pillories.
