Hassan Tower in Morocco

Hassan Tower is one of the most remarkable monuments of Rabat, the Moroccan capital. This huge minaret of an uncompleted mosque dates back to the end of the 12^th century and it was established by Yusuf Al Mansour to be the largest minaret in the world. Today it became one of the most popular touristic sites explored by numerous tourists who travel to Morocco.

Being more than 44 meters, which is half the height intended for the original minaret, the Hassan Tower is quite striking.
