DAY 1, Friday - Depart for Croatia

DAY 2, Saturday - Arrive in Split and Transfer to Zadar
Arrive in Split and transfer to Zadar pier. Embarkation begins at 2 pm. Check-in and relax or independently explore Zadar before the Welcome Reception this evening at approximately 6 pm, where you will meet your cruise manager and travel companions for an orientation meeting on the journey that lies ahead. We recommend that you select flights which arrive in Split no later than 4 pm or earlier, if possible

DAY 3, Sunday - Tour Historic Zadar, Village of Sali
Awake this morning surrounded by magnificent views of the dramatic Adriatic coast as the ship docks in the town of Zadar. Tour the historic center dominated by 16th century defensive walls built by the Venetians; a port gate flanked by a Venetian lion still guards the entrance. Visit Five Wells Square with its unique cisterns and the Church of St. Donat, one of the best examples of Byzantine architecture in Dalmatia; an architectural masterpiece! Also visit St. Anastasia, the largest cathedral in Dalmatia. Zadar is a perfect combination of superb Roman architecture, Habsburg elegance and a picture-perfect seafront. Return to the ship for lunch as you set sail towards Sali. Tonight, time to explore this tiny village on the island of Dugi Otok with its hidden coves, sheer cliffs, ancient ruins, and gorgeous white pebble beaches. Treat yourself to a typical local dinner of delectable fresh caught seafood, fish stew or mussels freshly cooked in one of the town's seaside restaurants

DAY 4, Monday - Kornati National Park, Krka National Park, Sibenik
Today, the ship heads along the central part of the Croatian Adriatic Coast to Sibenik, your next port of call. Upon arrival, depart for Kornati National Park, one of the most magical places in Croatia. This group of more than 100 islands and cliffs is considered one of the jewels of the Adriatic Sea. In the afternoon, an excursion to Krka National Park known for its deep canyons and dramatic waterfalls including Skradinski Buk Falls, one of Croatia's most famous sights. Travel by road to rejoin the ship in Sibenik. This evening, discover the delights of this atmospheric Adriatic town nestled in a protected natural harbor. Here you'll find some of the best regional cuisine, including fish or meat baked under a peka (a bell-shaped metal lid). Don't miss the tasty red wine from the local Babic vine - another local trademark

DAY 5, Tuesday - Medieval Trogir, Walking Tour in Split
Early afternoon arrival in Trogir, founded by the Greeks in 400 BC, one of the best preserved medieval towns in Europe, designated a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Its tiny streets, surrounded by 15th century walls, wind through this enchanting town accented by Romanesque and Renaissance architecture. Time on your own to explore the wide seaside promenade and stunning beaches in this unique city before rejoining the ship. After lunch on board, you dock in Split, spirited capital of Dalmatia. A walking tour along the cobbled streets of the Old Town takes you to the historic inner city built around the astonishing 4th century Palace of Diocletian. This spectacular palace is one the best preserved and largest antique palaces in the world, revealing a precious example of Roman architecture. See the remains of the Roman Peristyle, the unusual Cathedral of St. Domnius built in the Middle Ages and the Temple of Jupiter, with its headless black sphinx guarding the entrance. Afterwards, wander on your own, or climb to the bell tower of St. Duje's Cathedral for fabulous panoramic views of the city. This evening, savor the delectable cuisine at a traditional seafood restaurant, or, join the locals at a café along Riva, the bustling seafront promenade

DAY 6, Wednesday - Sail to Bol, en Route to Hvar*, Hvar Sightseeing Tour
After breakfast continue to Bol for a swim at Golden Horn, considered by many the best beach in Croatia. The Golden Horn is a golden pebble beach about 580 yards long that shifts positions with the winds, ensuring a unique experience for each visit. Lunch is on board today while sailing onto Hvar, one of Croatia's most popular islands and one of the longest stretching along the coast. Upon arrival enjoy a sightseeing tour of Hvar town, home to the first public theatre in Europe and numerous other historical sights. Spend the evening exploring and perhaps dine at one of the family owned restaurants before returning to the ship

DAY 7, Thursday - Korcula Walking Tour, Mljet Tour
Relax on board and enjoy the stunning scenery as the ship sails to Korcula, birthplace of Marco Polo. After lunch on board, join the guided walking tour of Korcula that explores its medieval walled city, narrow cobbled streets and visits the Gothic-Baroque Cathedral of St. Mark, with its beautifully decorated façade. Later, sail to Mljet Island, Croatia's greenest island with Mediterranean vegetation, a gentle sandy shoreline and a wealth of underwater sea life. Tour the island and Mljet National Park that covers the island's entire western wooded area. The two deep bays on the island are connected by a narrow channel with the 12th century Benedictine Monastery situated in the larger of the bays. Tonight, enjoy captain’s dinner on board your ship

DAY 8, Friday - Sail to Dubrovnik, Dubrovnik City Tour
This morning sail to Dubrovnik, known as the "Pearl of the Adriatic". Upon arrival enjoy the many delights the city has to offer. Dubrovnik's splendid medieval ramparts are considered to be one of the most grandiose fortification monuments in Europe, and its magnificent Old Town was declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The walking tour of "Old Dubrovnik" highlights the city's treasures within the 800-year-old walls including a visit to the Rector's Palace, an outstanding blend of Gothic and Renaissance architecture and to the Franciscan Monastery’s Pharmacy. Continue to the Dominican Monastery, whose museum is a major treasury of culture. Enjoy the evening at leisure before returning to the ship
