DAY 1: Departure from USA

  • Depart the USA to Cape Town. Your flight includes meals, drinks and in-flight entertainment.
DAY 2: Connect in Dubai

  • Arrival to Dubai and change plane to Cape Town.
DAY 3: Arrival to Cape Town

  • Upon arriving in Cape Town, South Africa Mother City, you will be warmly welcomed and transferred to your luxurious hotel. The rest of your day is at your leisure to begin exploring one of the most beautiful cities in the world.
DAY 4: Cape Town, Experience the City

  • 08:00 AM Breakfast at the hotel.
  • 09:00 AM We will be met by our guide in the hotel lobby and head to our first stop, the Castle of Good Hope, known locally as "The Castle." Built in the 17th century, this bastion fort is the oldest surviving colonial building in South Africa and a premier example of Dutch colonial architecture. Originally located on the coastline of Table Bay, the Castle now sits within the Central Business District, having been declared a provincial heritage site in 1936. It houses nine boutique museums, each contributing to a narrative that is educational and inclusive, allowing visitors to explore the rich and complex history of the region.
  • 10:00 AM Next, we will continue our journey to the Table Mountain Cable Station, where you can take a breathtaking ride to the summit of Table Mountain. Marvel at the panoramic views of Cape Town and the surrounding coastline as you ascend to one of the New7Wonders of Nature.
  • 11:45 AM We will ascend Signal Hill, where you can witness the historic firing of the Noon Gun (except Sundays and Public Holidays). This exciting experience not only offers an opportunity to hear and see the cannon fired but also provides spectacular views of the city, Cape Town Stadium, and the entire Table Bay area. Don&rsquot forget your camera for this stunning photo opportunity
  • 12:30 PM After a morning filled with exploration, we will stop for lunch at a local restaurant.
  • 02:00 PM Our tour continues with a scenic coastal drive(Panoramic Tour) to experience one of the most beautiful cities in the world. We will pass through the City Centre and Greenmarket Square, where local culture and commerce come alive. Next, we will pass by the iconic Cape Town Stadium. As we proceed, we will explore the stunning neighbourhoods of Sea Point, Clifton, and Camps Bay, renowned for their breathtaking ocean views and vibrant atmosphere.
  • 02:30 PM Visit the brightly coloured Bo-Kaap Malay Quarter, famous for its rich history and vibrant culture. Here, you will learn about the fascinating stories that shape this unique area. Next, join the captivating Diamond and Tanzanite Experience at the Diamond Workshop, where you will discover the secrets behind these sparkling gems. Delight in an engaging tour that reveals the history and allure of diamonds, tanzanite, and other authentic African treasures.
  • 05:00 PM After our tour, we will return to the hotel.

DAY 5: Cape Town, Explore the Cape of Good Hope

  • 07:00 AM Breakfast at the Hotel.
  • 08:00 AM We will be met by our guide in the hotel lobby and begin our journey with a visit to the quaint fishing village of Hout Bay (Approximately a 45-minute drive from Cape Town). This charming harbour is dominated by the imposing Sentinel Mountain, creating a stunning back for our visit. Hout Bay is known for its vibrant local atmosphere, where you can soak in the scenic beauty of the surrounding landscapes. As a historic fishing village, it offers a glimpse into the regions maritime heritage and is a perfect spot to enjoy the coastal charm of South Africa.
  • 09:15 AM Weather permitting, we will enjoy a 45-minute Seal Island Cruise. Alternatively, you can explore the craft market at the harbor, where you can shop for unique souvenirs and local artisan goods.
  • 10:15 AM Our tour continues as we drive over Chapmans Peak, renowned for its dramatic cliffs and breathtaking views. This route offers fantastic photo opportunities, so be sure to have your camera ready to capture the stunning landscapes.
  • 11:00 AM We will stop for lunch at a local restaurant.
  • 12:30 PM After lunch, we will head to the Cape of Good Hope, part of the Cape Point National Park (Approximately a one-hour drive).
  • 01:30 PM Upon arrival, you will have the chance to explore this iconic location, known for its breathtaking scenery and diverse wildlife.
  • 03:00 PM Next, we will visit Boulders Beach in Simons Town (Approximately a 40-minute drive).
  • 03:40 PM - 04:00 PM Upon arrival explore the protected cove that is home to a colony of African penguins. These penguins have been living on the beach since 1982, and the area has since been declared a protected marine reserve to safeguard their habitat.
  • 05:00 PM After a day filled with exploration and unforgettable experiences, we will head back to Cape Town for a relaxing evening in the Mother City.

DAY 6: Cape Town - Robben Island Tour

  • 07:00 AM, Breakfast at our hotel.
  • 08:00 AM You will meet with your guide and depart to Victoria and Alfred Waterfront
  • 08:45 AM Board a ferry for Robben Island World Heritage Site (weather permitted tour).
  • 09:45 AM Upon arrival we will start exploring the Island. During the years of Apartheid rule in South Africa, the island gained notoriety. It served as a place of exile for dissidents and political prisoners, with the most prominent figure being the former president, Nelson Mandela. This tour aims to shed light on the immense struggles, aspirations, and yearnings for freedom that became synonymous with Nelson Mandela`s imprisonment on this island.
  • You will disembark at Murray`s Bay Harbor situated on the east coast of the Island and take a short walk to buses that will transport you to all the historical sites around the Island. On the way to the buses, you will pass buildings and a high wall built by prisoners during the 1960s. The buildings were used for family and lawyer visits to prisoners.
  • The tour route includes the graveyard of people who died from leprosy, the Lime Quarry, Robert Sobukwe`s house, the Bluestone quarry, the army and navy bunkers and the Maximum-Security Prison where thousands of South Africa`s freedom fighters were incarcerated for years. The tour culminates with a viewing of Nelson Mandela`s cell.

DAY 9: Johannesburg, Journey to Freedom Tour

  • 08:00 AM Breakfast at the hotel.
  • 09:00 AM We will be met by the guide for a full day Journey to Freedom Tour beginning at the Hector Pieterson Museum, where we start to unravel the cause of the devastating riots, before travelling past Mandela House, where you have the possibility to visit this small museum.
  • 10:30 AM Our next significant stop is the fascinating Regina Mundi Church, site of so many of the underground meetings of the then banned political parties. Standing there, you can feel the tension picture the intensity, the strain on the faces of those unthinkably brave souls, committed at any cost to changing the way of life of a nation.
  • 11:30 AM We will head to visit the legendary Apartheid Museum (Closed on Mon & Tue). This is an interactive voyage of discovery, one which takes you from the dark days of whites only privilege, through to Nelson Mandela`s historic release. The Apartheid Museum is a multimedia experience, with documentary film snippets, texts, sound clips and live accounts, recapturing life in the dark days of South Africa.
