Afterwards, board the world-famous Flam Railway, named one of the most beautiful train journeys in the world, that takes you into Norway's high glacial regions. Along the way, view lush pastures, waterfalls and snow-clad peaks, all nestled together in the surrounding mountainside. This old trading port, surrounded by seven imposing mountains, has maintained its bustling harbor since the 11th century. Then, on to Troldhaugen for a visit to the inspirational home of Edvard Grieg, Norway's most famous composer, majestically overlooking the fjords. The guided walk continues to Bryggen, the wooden Hanseatic pier and adjacent quarters dating back to the Middle Ages, with its UNESCO-listed buildings. Time to tour the lively fish market and the surrounding narrow alleyways before transferring to Bergen’s port to embark on your coastal cruise. Immerse yourself in the unique Norwegian sailing experience, enjoyed by locals and visitors alike.
