The Bonampak Morals are located inside an ancient site that belongs to the Maya civilization near the city of Chiapas in Mexico. In fact the word Bonampak referred to colored walls according to the Mayans. These three rooms, situated in the middle of the jungle, are famous for their bright colors and rich extensive paintings. These painted walls represent perhaps the finest preserved murals ever left by the Mayans all over the world. This ancient site that used to serve as a temple was constructed between the 6th and the 9th centuries AD. Other than the best painted walls left by the Mayan civilization, these three rooms assert, according to the paintings, that the Mayans were rather peaceful.
