Cajas National Park in Ecuador

Situated in the province of Azuay in Ecuador, the Cajas National Park is one of the largest and most impressive in Latin America. With a surface area of more than 280 square kilometers, many tourists who travel to Ecuador would pay the park a visit.

Announced as a national park in 1996, the Cajas National Park is famous for its paper trees that is located more than 3000 meters above sea level.

The Cajas National Park also hosts some magnificent and rare animals like raptors of certain types. There are also many species of opossums, cats, and bats.
