Jantar Mantar in India

Situated in Jaipur, the Jantar Mantar was built in the 18th century and it consists of a group of iconic structures that represent the astronomical system. Included in the UNESCO list of world heritage sites, the Jantar Mantar is one of the most marvelous historical sites included in many travel packages in India. 

Jantar Mantar is in fact one of the distinctive monuments of India as it allows observing the astronomical features. With its unique orange pink color, Jantar Mantar welcomes hundreds of tourists everyday who spend their vacations in India.

Unfortunately, the whole complex was largely damaged in the 19th century. However, due to the intensive restoration works carried out in various periods of time, Jantar Mantar regained its glory. Today it is still explored by numerous travelers who tour India.
