Qutub Minar is one of the most distinctive monuments of Delhi. Being more than 72 meters in height, the Minaret is the tallest in India and the second highest minaret in the whole world. Included in the UNESCO World Heritage Sites, Qutub Minar is one of the monuments that welcomes hundreds of tourists who travel to India. Established by Qutub El Dine Aybak, one of the Turkish Mamluks that ruled over parts of India, at the end of the 12th century, Qutub Minaret was afterwards by three others sultans to become today one of the most marvelous monuments visited by many travelers who tour India.
