The Amer Fort in India

The Amer Fort is located in a town that holds the same name in the region of Rajasthan in India. Located near the touristic sites of Jaipur, the Amer Fort has a surface area of around 1.5 miles and it welcomes hundreds of tourists who travel to India every day.

The Amer Fort is popular for its distinctive Hindus architectural element, huge walls, and wonderful gates overlooking a large Moata lake. Built at the end of the 16th century out of sandstones and the finest types of marble, the Amer Fort is included in several travel packages to India.

The Amer Fort was constructed on four levels, each of them has an open courtyard. This is in addition to an area for the public and an area specified for the royal family members. The fort, other than being a stronghold, also served as the residence of the maharajas. It is nowadays a wonderful touristic attraction that grabs the attention of many tourists who travel to India.
