The Bwindi National Park in Uganda

One of the most popular parks in Uganda, the Bwindi National Park is a section of the what so called impenetrable forest located at the South West of the country. The forest is in fact located near the neighboring country of Congo.

With its huge surface area that exceeds 300 square kilometers, there is a lot to watch in the Bwindi National Park. Sceintists assert that there are more than 700 species of various creature that takes the forest as their homes or natural habitat.

The most interesting animals to watch in the park include the famous mountain Gorilla that are quite rare to view anywhere else in the world. The park was added to the  UNESCO world heritage sites. Many travel packages to Uganda include a visit to the Bwindi National Park.
