The Cave of the Hands is one of the most distinctive places to explore during a tour to Argentina. Situated in the South Western section of the country, the cave was discovered by one of the monks in 1941. Included in the UNESCO World Heritage Sites in 1999, the Cave of the Hands is featured with numerous hands portraits and drawings on its walls. Historians assert that these drawings date back to 1000 to 7000 years BC. Scholars have divided the drawings into two categories. The first is featured with its high artistic sense and its demonstration of the hunting process in ancient times. The other category represents more stable drawings.
