The Frida Kahlo Museum in Mexico, commonly known as the Blue House, due to the blue color of its walls, is a museum dedicated for the works of former Mexican artist, Frida Kahlo. Today, it is one of the most interesting places to explore by tourists who visit Mexico. Transformed into a museum in 1958, it hosts a distinctive collection of artisan works of Frida Kahlo. This is in addition to many items illustrating the traditional arts of Mexico. The museum is considered among the most visited by travelers who enjoy their vacations in Mexico. The Blue House originally consisted of a large villa with three walls surrounding the courtyard. Afterwards, another fourth wall was added so that the wall would be surrounding the garden from all sides. Consisting of two floors, the house hosts two bedrooms, studio, a large kitchen, and a dining room. |
