Originally constructed by the Ottomans during the 16th century, the Mostar Bridge is one of the monuments of the city that holds the same name in Bosnia. In fact, the old Mostar bridge was totally damaged during the Croat–Bosniak War. However, the new bridge, tourists who visit Bosnia view today, was established in 2004. The Mostar Bridge, which connects the two sides of the city over the Neretva river, is around 4 meters wide, with a length that is more than 24 meters.
