The National Museum of Dubai

Located at the oldest surviving monument in the city, the Dubai National Museum is situated inside the Al Fahidy Fortress that was constructed at the end of the 18^th century. Today the fort and the museum welcome hundreds of tourists who travel to UAE.

Established in 1971, the Dubai National Museum illustrates the features and the characteristics of the traditional life in the city. The displays include many antiquities, handmade items, and many other exhibits from various countries especially in Asia where commercial activities flourished. The museum today is included in many UAE travel packages.
