The Sheikh Zayed Palace Museum

Located in the city of Al Ain, the Sheikh Zayed Palace Museum is housed in a former royal palace that was the residence of Sheikh Zayed Bin Sultan Al Nahyan.

Constructed in 1937, Sheikh Zayed lived in the palace for more than 20 years until 1966. The museum presents a wonderful demonstration of how Arabian style palaces look like with many various elements like Meeting room of men which was called Al Majles and many other elements.

The Sheikh Zayed Palace Museum is also featured for hosting some of the belongings of the former king of the United Arab Emirates. There are factually many items to watch for. This is why a visit to the palace and the museum is included in many travel packages to the UAE.
