The Sintra Royal Palace in Portugal

Famous for being the best example of a medieval royal residence in the whole country, the Sintra Royal Palace, is one of the most wonderful historical sites included in almost all travel packages to Portugal.

Many kings and members of the royal family lived in the Palace of Sintra in the period from the beginning of the 15th century till around the end of the 19th century. Today it was transformed into a museum that welcomes hundreds of tourists who travel to Portugal.
