The Hotel was built in the late 1800’s and was purpose built as a boarding house. In 1903, the hotel was called Hotel Gwalia, typically with fireplaces throughout the various floors and was unique to the Bloomsbury area.In 1983, Guidezone Limited bought the hotel and over the past number of years, spent their time transforming the hotel product to what we have today.

• Location: The hotel is well situated just 0.25 mile from Earls Court Exhibition Center and 0.5 mile from the Victoria and Albert Museum. Harrods, Royal Albert Hall, Hyde Park are each approximately 1 mile from the hotel; Buckingham Palace, Kensington Palace, Knightsbridge and the theatre district are all within 1.5 miles.
