Amboseli Sopa Lodge

Nestled in 190 acres of wooded Masai land, the lodge sits on the foot hills of Africa’s highest mountain, Mt Kilimanjaro. Mature wooded gardens with a variety of trees and plants, from thorn trees and acacias, to fragrant frangipanis, colourful bougainvillea and giant cactus plants thrive in these surroundings.

• Location: 250 kms from Nairobi, approximately 4 hours drive on tarmac and murram all weather road. Flying from Nairobi is approximately 40 minutes, and an hour’s transfer time to the lodge.
• Reception: The reception desk is designed like the entrance into a Masai hut, and the wall behind is painted in bold brown strokes, and decorated with silver spear heads, and Masai beaded necklaces.
• Room: The location of every guest room has been carefully chosen to promise the best views over the parkland while offering cool and elegant surroundings.
