For nearly 80 years Villa Mabapa in Venice has been the favoured choice of guests from every corner of the globe. It is a gracious and charming villa, looking out over Venice Lagoon and immersed in the tranquillity of cedars and pittosporums, and was built, in a late Art Nouveau style, at the end of the 1920s as a private residence.
The palazzo today forms the main part of the Best Western Hotel Villa Mabapa, which also consists of two other buildings, Villa Morea and Casa Pradel, connected by a covered passageway and by a large, cool and shady garden.
Behind its wrought iron entrance gate, throughout the year Villa Mabapa welcomes its guests with the warmth and care of the home combined with the elegance and style of a 4-star Venice hotel, managed by the same family for four generations |
