Mar 27 - Apr 04, 2010 (9 Day Highlights of Israel)

I want to send my congratulations on an excellently organized trip that I just took to Israel.  Although Israel wasn't on your website as part of Right Travel's MANY offerings I was assured that this trip was possible.  I had a list of sites to see and, with the help of your Israel contacts, you were able to organize an amazing trip for me.  Medhat was even able to put my mind at rest when I had concerns about traveling to an area of unrest.  As it turned out I have never felt so safe as when I was in Israel.  This trip was unbelievable and, in just 6 days, I (along with a nice sized group of interesting and fun people that I now consider friends and that I still contact) saw all of the sites that were on my list.  The airport transfers were always on time, as is usual for Right Travel.  Everything was organized in a timely and professional manner.  Our guide throughout Israel, Avi, was very knowledgeable and able to be a great teacher every day in a serious as well as humorous way.  I love vacations where I learn new things every day and this vacation was no exception.  Even though this was Holy Week for various religions I never felt that I was hurried or rushed through any of the tourist attractions.  We visited Tel-Aviv, Jerusalem, Masada, the Dead Sea, Bethlehem, Nazareth, the Sea of Galilee, Tiberias, Haifa, Capernaum, Beit Shean, the Golan Heights, Safed (city of the Kabala), Akko (Acre), Mount Carmel and Caeserea.  The Western Wall in Jerusalem is a powerful experience I will never forget.  There were people of varied faiths on this trip but everyone was speechless after coming out from the underground area in Bethlehem where Jesus was born (the manger).  Although very, very busy the Church of the Holy Sepulchre (area where Jesus was crucified, buried and resurrected) was no less impressive.  Of course, the people that decided to float on the Dead Sea were not disappointed and there were smiles all around.  We were in the company of 6 non-complaining teenagers who were well-behaved and thirsty for knowledge...what a treat! The Bahai gardens in Haifa were breathtaking as were the views of the Mediterranean. For me, Jerusalem was a highlight: the Western Wall, the Garden of Gethsemane and the Church of the Agony, Temple Mount, Dome of the Rock, Al-Aqsa mosque, Via Dolorosa and the Stations of The Cross,  a special evening excursion of the city, King David's Tomb, Hall of The Last Supper, Mount Scopus, Mount of Olives and the list goes on and on. What a treat to also stand on the Mount of Beatitudes and to pay a visit to the museum of the recently found Biblical Era Boat on the Sea of Galilee.  The cruise on the Sea of Galilee couldn't have been more perfect and peaceful.  All in all I highly recommend Israel and I can't praise Right Travel enough for its courteous, quick and professional organization. I will never forget this incredible experience. I am glad I discovered Right Travel last year when you organized my trip to Egypt (another amazing trip!) and I am already looking at my next trip with you.
